Indie-Clips is registered as a non-profit organistion (0794.137.515). The aim of the festival is to promote independent short films and directors with a mission to engage student and amateur aspiring film professionals who want to step foot into this industry. The festival offers them opportunities to connect with like-minded people, and industry professionals while gaining exposure as winners of the festival.


The Event
The festival included a series of live events to connect independent filmmakers and film practitioners, a film competition featuring our panel of 12 judges including BAFTA-winning producer Jordi Morera, D&AD Pencils-winning filmmaker Niel Pymer, and Forbes Featuring CEO Rebekah Smith, as well as a finalist screen filming at Curzon Cinema. We welcomed 64 submissions from 14 countries and 200 attendees to our festival.


Synopsis: Matthew, a lonely market research analyst at Fortress Condoms LTD, dreams of having an intimate relationship. One day a new girl, Eva, joins the office, catching Matthew's eye. He tries to change his life and connect with Eva, but making his dreams a reality proves more difficult than he thought.

Synopsis: Meet Mohammed Aissaoui, owner of "MyFarm Dubai", a biodynamic farm in the boiling desert of Dubai. Besides creating a high quality food in a 100% sustainable way, it's his mission to share his knowledge with as many people as possible and Dubai is, according to Mohammed, the perfect place.

Thanks to our strategic communications and targeted partner outreach, we attracted a diverse selection of high-quality student films, including sharp-witted comedies, powerful environmental documentaries, surrealist explorations, gripping dramas, and more. Our Approach
With a student and early-career film audience in mind, we introduced interactive networking games and informal formats to spark conversation and collaboration. Our aim was to create a welcoming space where creative relationships could grow alongside the films being shown.
